ACA Food Service Conference

SERVSAFE CERTIFICATION COURSE
WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2009 8 AM – 4 PM
The ServSafe Certification Course is a national certification program mandated by the State of California. ServSafe meets the California Food Code regulations for an approved food service manager 8-hour training and is vaild for five years.

IMPORTANT! All ServSafe participants will need the required text (ServSafe Essentials, 5th Edition) and a Scantron answer sheet. To purchase these items, go to www.servsafe.com, and select "purchase materials". You can borrow any 4th or 5th edition text book to study, but each individual must have a Scantron sheet to take the exam. None will be available onsite. Please purchase these items at least two weeks in advance and read the text thoroughly prior to the conference.

FOOD SERVICE CONFERENCE
THURSDAY, APRIL 16, 2009 8 AM – 4 PM
Come taste delicious food samples, learn new preparation techniques, swap recipes, meet with vendors and even place food orders! Hang on to your raffle ticket throughout the day for surprise giveaways!

COOKIE EXCHANGE
Bring 2 dozen of your best dessert to place at the "Cookie Exchange Table" during the Food Service Conference. Be sure to bring a copy of the recipe, so your colleagues can take it back to their own kitchen!

Vote for your favorite dessert -The "Best in Show" receives a prize!
