Bob Ditter, M.Ed., L.C.S.W. is well known to camp
professionals throughout the United States. Since
1982 he has conducted training seminars for directors
and staff at over 500 camps. Bob has appeared on The Today Show on NBC twice, The ABC Evening News
with Peter Jennings, Good Morning America, and is
constantly working with camp professionals to make
camp an ever more powerful, positive experience for

Camping Magazine.
What People Are Saying About Bob Ditter
"Bob does not get into your head, so much as your
heart. He has a genuine appreciation for those of us
who have dedicated our time and energies to the care
and well being of youth."
— Joe Stackhouse, Senior Recreation Director II,
City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks
Camping Section, Hollywoodland Girls Camp
“Bob Ditter has had a profound impact on our staff
training program, the culture of our camps, and the
effectiveness of our work with campers. Why? His
workshops are insightful, right on topic, and presented
in a way that makes it easy to teach staff. As testimony,
I’m still using a workshop Bob taught me at an ACA
Conference in 1983! If you want cutting-edge, easy-to-implement
staff training and child development ideas,
attend this event!”
— Tom Madeyski, Executive Director,
Resident Camping,
YMCA of San Diego County
“Bob Ditter helps us consider important topical youth
development issues in a practical way that empowers
our camp to enhance our policies, procedures and
trainings to better serve our campers and families in
today’s world.”
